Mazatlan

Mazatlan weddings is for the wedding couple who has visited Mexico several times and want a non-tourist type destination wedding.

Mazatlan is a working seaport where locals rely more on the fishing industry than the tourist industry. This town is very gracious towards their visitors. The Mexican character is seen throughout Mazatlan since they offer vacationers the things they came for – relaxation and entertainment in a pleasant seaside setting. Mataztlan is located in the area known as the Mexican Rivierea. It sits on a small peninsula nearly 1,000 miles south of the United States border. The city is divided into two zones: Old Mazatlan and the Zona Dorada. The latter is a tourist district filled with beach hotels, restaurants and shops. Several steep hills border the otherwise flat city. Mazatlan’s ten mile long malecon consists of the shore highway and beachfront boardwalk that stretches from the Zona Dorada to Old Mazatlan. The beaches in Mazatlan stretch for fourteen miles. They include nearly every type of surf-and-sand combination ranging from romantic, secluded coves to umbrella packed expanses where diving excursions, windsurfing and other water-related sports are available. The colored flags posted at swimming beaches are there to notify you if it is safe to go in or not. There are no private beaches in Mexico, all shoreline is federal property. Some hotels on the beach rope off the area where their beach chairs and tables are and expect only guests to use them. Have a great time relaxing in this seaport town!
